A Happy Ending

Finally, after nine months of training and waiting, I did my first Good Mews adoption today. A somewhat older couple came in looking for a pair of cats. They had already been to our web site, downloaded and filled in an application, and browsed the cat-alog. I knew right away I had to introduce them to my furry little girls Natalie and Neela. Sure enough, it took very little time for the decision. Natalie and Neela, after one failed adoption last summer which returned them to us, went to their forever home today :-)! I am thrilled for them — it was worth running myself ragged and not getting lunch until I got home at 5 p.m. to see them leave with their new mom and dad.
