So Oddkin Rachel has come up with a challenge — create a piece of art every day for a year. She’s calling it “Daily Devotions,” has the Yahoo! group all set up and everything. If you take the challenge, you spend time every day, maybe only 10-15 minutes, doing something creative and recording it in a book. The hope is that each of us will then exhibit our work somewhere in 2007.
It’s a daunting challenge for me, who can’t even keep swap committments very well. On the other hand, maybe it is what I need, a goal (NOT a committment that others depend on) to create every day, even if it’s just doodles.
Oh hell, Rachel. I think I’m in, at least until I get scared and bail out. But seeing all the friendly pixels in the group so far, mostly from OddArts, maybe I can handle this.
